I am 32, single, and live right now in GERMANY! Where I moved to in October 2009. I am stubborn, analytical, resourceful, ambitious, anxious, accident prone, blessed, hungry, connected, curious, and unsettled. I like to move.
But I prefer to stay at home as well.
I have a PhD in clinical psychology and specialize in children with medical problems, working in a hospital. I love what I do for a living….and really, my natural disposition is to DO.
I also have a master’s in education, specializing in neuropsychology, and a master’s in theology. This translates into a few thousand pounds of books and more thousands in student loans…both for which I am grateful
But What I am does not matter as much as WHO I am. My grandfather used to say “that girl could argue with a brick wall.” I am a woman who frequently reflects/obsesses about life, is fiercely loyal, and constantly hungering for challenge. More than that, I am deeply fulfilled by sharing stories, and connecting through words.
If you want to know a person, examine her actions…and so, browse through my 101 tasks. They force me to laugh at myself! I hope you do as well.

I want to bring a little light to your day…

Hi! I just found your site and reading your about me page is really amazing. I am a senior in college, looking at pursuing my PhD in clinical psych, I am interested in children specifically. I also have an interest in neuropsychology, so I’m anxious to see how it will all play out. Anyways, nice to find someone with so much in common. I wish you the best of luck with everything, and I look forward to reading!
You have very little integrity.
There are many things I have little of: upper body strength, patience when hungry, a keen fashion sense. I am working on those, I promise! You’re right, sometimes I am very inconsistent. However: “Integrity may be seen as the quality of having a sense of honesty and truthfulness in regard to the motivations for one’s actions.” I hope I am if any, authentic, in my shortcomings.
Who the hell is Abbey and, more importantly, what’s her point??
that’s my girl!! as far as integrity, you have more than anyone I know. Don’t let some jackasses comment affect you in any way, shape or form!! Perhaps they were referring to themselves, or failed to define the word. In any case, you have continued to make me the proudest mother there could be, and forge on Baby Girl…if anyone can accomplish all her goals, it’s you!! Guess those years of arguing with brick walls paid off for you!! Love you
Thanks for the comment on my site, glad to have found yours as well!
i think there is plenty of integrity to be found here
Hi, just want to say hi, after I read your about me, I can’t wait to read more about your posts!
HI!
Thanks for commenting on my blog and I just wanted to tell you that your blog is very fun and interesting too! You have quite a background of education and it shows!
I’ll definately be back!
also sounds pretty wise for 30. I expect you are going to be one very cool “old” woman in 50 years (at this rate of personal awareness and growth)
ohh Kryssy..I think I’ve got it! I’m all subscribed now!! This is fun, and I will enjoy all the comments.
I love you, my little miracle!
Mom
Where overseas are you moving???
Wow…I can’t relate to reflecting/obsessing over life at all (insert sarcasm here). It’s nice to know I’m not the only one with deep thoughts but a light spirit!
Look forward to reading more.
well….I just can’t seem to get anything current..so help me out!! I seem to be only able to have your original page….but that’s okay..cause seeing my little shining star in undies and stylin sunglasses always brings a smile to my face, and a warm memory to my heart! Love you!

I feel like I wrote this haha… Thanks for stopping by my blog, loving yours and can’t wait to read more!

Thanks for commenting on my blog!! HEAB suggested writing with Windows Live Writer to avoid the funky things WordPress does?…but is this a different blogging site? Won’t I lose my current stuff? Hmmm…
And, I’m so glad I gave you some motivation to listen to your body! Yes, take the weekend off, fuel up, get some rest, relax and enjoy yourself with friends a movie, baking and a book I say!
I’ve only recently got back into running again after a c-raaaazzzy history with it (to say the least), and I compare myself alot to what I used to be able to do or what other runners (on here and in ‘real’ life are doing) – it becomes stressful and I started to feel like I had to go for an hour or hit certain mileage.
But I have to remember that it’s okay to take days off and it’s okay just to go out for a short run if I did a harder one the day before – whether my legs feel good or not. I don’t always have to feel tired or sore – in fact I shouldn’t! Why drag myself around all day?!
Take care, and add me to your blog roll if you like it! I love yours

Hi! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog! Awesome, I also live in Germany (I’m German), and I’m currently doing graduate studies in psychology (heading towards social and personality psychological research hopefully, some day). I’m happy I’ve found your blog now, looks like a treasure chest!
hey i heard you got lasik surgery done..that so cool. i want to have that done but confused about the price risks, procedure, treatment and followup…help!?
btw cute blog..love your pics..you are so pretty !
“pretty!” was never a word to describe me: stubborn, impatient, ambitious, curious, and trouble “pretty” much sums me up.
thanks for the compliment, though!
I like the words that you use to describe yourself as I can relate to them too. Being “connected” is good as I believe it implies being in the now, being aware of our being in relation to our universe and having the courage to live life to our fullest potential.
