These days are dark, and easily cold
In this season, it is difficult to tell
who is wounded,
who is healed.
Are we strong?
or weak?
Both worried, and secure.
What matters is the showing up,
whether to be willing to receive,
or eager to contribute.
to be present
In gratitude, for the hands that nourish us.
and to honor those missing by our sides.
Let us bend our intentions now towards goodness
and the expectant hope,
of light, of love,
of living.
instead of just getting by.
